West- Mont Christian Academy believes it has the best small-school sports program in the tri-state area. Our record and our accomplishments speak to the success that a small school can have competing against much larger programs.
Since 1988, we have added sports for both men and women. Our girls currently compete in volleyball, field hockey, basketball and soccer, while our boys enjoy soccer, basketball, wrestling, and baseball.
What makes our sports programs stand out from the rest? Teaching commitment ... something which has been missed by many other teams. When each player is dedicated to doing their part, the result will be not only a better citizen but the whole team benefits from each giving their best.

To what do we attribute our success? We believe our philosophy of doing the best we can as God instructs us to, whether it be a game, a practice, or any area of our life, is the foundation on which we should build any program. Secondly, we play to have fun - lots of fun. It's more fun to win than it is to lose, so we work to have more fun than our opponent. It has paid off in many ways. The vast majority of our student body plays at least one sport beginning in 6th grade. This helps us teach our athletes both goal-oriented values, as well as social ones. Each of our students gets the chance to compete. We don't cut players - we form new teams so our students get more exposure to competition than is experienced in larger schools. This has paid dividends not only in our success as a team, but also in each student's character development.

We have sent many of our athletes on to the collegiate level - some with athletic scholarships. An athlete, should never be concerned that they will be at a disadvantage playing for West-Mont. On the contrary, because you have selected our school, you will receive the chance that many never get of playing varsity sports at a high level.  We do not accept the fact that playing for a small school means playing on a low level!

Where playing for a smaller school . . .
also means playing in a high level!
