The descriptions in these emails will allow each family to decide which rides they are able to attend. There will be rail-trail/road rides from 10-30 miles, and mountain bike rides from 5-12 miles, all at different paces. If you would like to be on the mailing list for ride information, email Mr. Bowman at Being on the mailing list does not commit you to any rides.

Spanish Group at West-Mont!

We partnered with an organization to bring a group of Spanish students to our area this summer for the opportunity to improve their English and learn more about American culture. The group attended regular ESL classes at West-Mont Christian Academy during the week, enjoyed frequent day trips to local and regional attractions, and spent quality time with their host family on the weekends. The program was a great success and a blessing to our school, as well as the visiting students.

Long Term Host Families Still Needed • 2017-18 School Year

($900 Monthly Stipend)

We are still looking for long term host families who are willing to bring the mission field into their home, and provide a loving, caring environment for international students as they study in the United States. At the current time we are seeking a host family specifically for two  high school boys.

If you are interested in hosting a short or long term student, please contact Beth Wisler at We also value host family referrals, so please forward this information to anyone you feel might be interested in this opportunity.

The WCA Mission Team had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala earlier this summer to venture out on the Great Commission! Follow this link to our Facebook posts detailing their trip, including many photos!

Our summer reading requirement is designed to help your children bridge the gap in learning between the end of one school year and the beginning of the next one. It is also our hope that students will select summer reading books they are interested in and enjoy reading at a pace they can set. Experts agree that children who read during the summer gain reading skills, while those who do not often regress. Summer is a great time to encourage your children to remain active in learning in all areas through many creative outlets.  Follow this link to access grade specific, detailed information regarding our summer reading program. There are also supply lists for next school year included on the summer reading page.

This meeting is important, so we encourage at least one parent from your family to be in attendance. We look forward to seeing you there!

August 14 at 10:30 AM in the MS/HS Conference Room

The West-Mont Parent Council (WPC) is an opportunity for WCA parents to bless our school. They do so by organizing special luncheons for teachers, beautifying our buildings and property, providing much-needed items for teachers and students, and much more. They raise money through low-pressure fundraisers, and have helped support the WCA Mission Team, contributed to a Gas Fund that helps defray the cost of field trips, and purchased items for teachers and staff that would not be covered by the budget.

Meetings are held as needed during the school year in the MS/HS Conference Room for a time of devotion, prayer, fellowship, and business.  The WPC would love for you to be a part of this opportunity to be a blessing to our teachers and students.
