Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
Pennsylvania businesses can redirect tax dollars to help West-Mont Christian Academy.
EITC could be a tool for your business and a way to help the school. This unique program provides companies with a 75 percent tax credit for donations to a non-profit scholarship or educational improvement institution. The tax credit increases to 90 percent if the company commits to making the same donations for two consecutive years. A business paying taxes in Pennsylvania can receive up to $750,000 in tax credits annually.
Learn more about this program and how it can help your business and WCA. We are happy to work with your tax adviser to develop the best way for you to benefit from EITC.

Faces behind EITC
We are a fun-loving, church-going, bike-riding, bee-keeping, private-schooling type of family! Dad and mom are striving to raise up the 4 Kratz kids the best way we know how: solid family structure and private Christian school. With private Christian schools, you get to stack the deck in your child’s favor: small class sizes, excellent teachers, powerful academics, and Biblical training.
We were able to reach our goal of private school with the help of the Education Income Tax Credit. Scholarships in our area allowed us send our daughters to West-Mont. EITC opens the door of private education to families that need a bit of help, a family like ours.
One of the exciting opportunities with EITC, is the requirement of volunteer hours at West-Mont. Parents become directly involved in school life, getting to know students, families, faculty, and in return are blessed by the “investment.” Volunteering has enabled my wife to work hand-in-hand with the directors on three plays during the school year! She enjoys helping students with their acting gifts.
Thanks to EITC for this exciting opportunity!
