Service Projects

"What good is it, my brothers if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

James 2:14-17

Each middle school student completes a “James Project” each quarter in which they serve their community for the glory of God.

These projects are presented to the rest of the class through posters or powerpoint presentations.

Students disassembled prosthetics and the parts will be used to build new prostheses for individuals that would otherwise never be able to pay for such a device. These devices go to countries around the world including The Dominican Republic, The Middle East, India and Asia through Physicians for Peace.
