We live in an age where truth has become relative. Media has bombarded us with countless ideas and philosophies. Adults are finding it more and more difficult to navigate this ever shifting culture. How much more difficult is it for our children?
At Alliance Christian School District, the development of a Biblical Worldview, or Biblical way of thinking, is at the forefront of what we teach. This means we intentionally study the world around us and seek to interpret it through the lens of Scripture. We believe that God has something to say about everything we study and everything we study has something to say about him.

BIBLICALLY INTEGRATED CURRICULUM
We mean it when we say God has something to say about everything we study and everything we study has something to say about him. Our course of study helps students to not only understand the subject, but to know and understand God even more. In this model of teaching, science allows us to better understand the Creator by studying his creation. Math allows us to understand the language of creation. History becomes alive as we seek to see God’s hand in the past and use what we learn to make a better future. Language helps us to better understand the Bible. The Arts allow us to understand how God made us creative and use those creative skills to glorify His name.
21ST CENTURY TOOLBOX
The 21st century has radically changed what students need to be ready for success in college, career, Christian walk, and life in general. Change has become a constant, truth has become relative, and our problems have become incredibly complex. Simply knowing facts is not enough. Instead, our students need to develop a “21st century toolbox” of skills that equips them to use their knowledge wisely.
These Tools Include:
Critical Thinking
​
The ability to think deeply and analytically about issues. Students must learn to see multiple perspectives, evaluate those perspectives against a Biblical worldview, and make decisions that honor God. To develop this skill, teachers regularly ask students to analyze and evaluate primary sources, literature, current and past events, ideas, and situations. Students then draw conclusions and defend those conclusions.
Collaboration

Today’s jobs and problems require us to work together effectively. The ability to communicate with others, understand and utilize the strengths of team members, resolve conflict, and work for the common are not skills that are learned overnight. Rather, these skills must be practiced over and over again. Our teachers are intentional about designing classroom activities and projects that allow students to learn and develop these skills.

Problem Solving
​
For most of the 20th century, students were prepared for a workforce that dealt with predictable and repeatable tasks. In the 21st century, it has become clear that the problems we encounter are not predictable, nor do they require the same solution. Our problems have also become more complex. Today’s problem solving requires students to develop new ideas and methods, often unique to the challenge in front of them. Additionally, good problem solving skills require students to learn how to see failure not as the final outcome, but as a learning experience.

Information Literacy
​
Information is growing at an exponential rate. The average person today has more information at their fingertips than ever before. Students must learn how to navigate this ocean of information, discern what is reliable, and identify bias in the information. To accomplish this, students are regularly required to go beyond the text and teacher materials and do their own research.
FULLY ACCREDITED PROGRAM
Every campus in Alliance Christian School District is fully accredited by both the Association for Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association. Accreditation means our curriculum, program, processes, and much more are subject to external review on a regular basis. This ensures our schools continue to meet high standards, follow best practices, and has external accountability. In short, accreditation means parents and students alike can be reassured that the school program is a high quality program designed to prepare students to effectively serve God in their chosen career path, church, and community.
